A Note From The Developer

I built NowCapital because I was frustrated with the generic retirement calculators available online. They were either too simple (ignoring Canadian tax nuances like OAS clawbacks and RRSP meltdowns) or required me to hand over my personal data to a bank.

I built this tool to plan my own retirement.

After running thousands of scenarios and fine-tuning the tax logic, this calculator gave me the confidence to announce my retirement in December 2025. I am sharing it for free because I believe every Canadian deserves unbiased, private access to their own financial truth.
